Republic gold 100 Bolivares 1889 MS61 PCGS, Caracas mint, KM-Y34, OAV-100B-A.4. The terminal date in this series and one which, although quite common even in upper AU grades, enters into a state of supreme scarcity when located in Mint State, with PCGS only having awarded 7 pieces the designation. While typical bagmarking is present over Bolivar's portrait, this can hardly disguise fully expressed details and clear traces of die polish at the legends.
