Diademed head of deified Alexander III right, with horn of Ammon; dotted border / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ / ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ, Athena enthroned left, Nike in right hand crowning royal name, resting left arm on shield decorated with lion head boss, transverse spear beyond; crescent left in outer left field, archaic xoanon (cult image) in inner left field, EY monogram in exergue. Thompson 218. Solidly struck from dies of magnificent style in high relief. Beautiful light toning around the devices. Superb coin in hand.
