ATTICA. Athens. Ca. 510/500-480 BC. AR tetradrachm (27mm, 17.20 gm, 10h). NGC AU 5/5 - 2/5, Fine Style. Pre-Persian Class. Head of Athena right, hair in waved loops along brow line, wearing crested Attic helmet, single spiral on bowl, the crest base decorated with pellets / AΘΕ, owl standing right with closed wings, head facing; olive sprig with three leaves and no berries behind, all within incuse square. HGC 4, 1588 (ca. 525-515 BC). Seltman Group H. Fine Style dies with high relief obverse. Right side of reverse not fully struck, thus making the coin appear to be without an ethnic, although the bottom half of the E is visible.
