PTOLEMAIC EGYPT. Arsinöe II Philadelphus (277-270/68 BC). AV mnaieion or octodrachm (26mm, 27.76 gm, 12h). NGC XF 5/5 - 3/5. Posthumous issue of Paphos under Ptolemy V, dated Year 12 (193/2 BC?). Veiled head of deified Arsinöe II right, wearing diademed stephane and horn of Ammon, scepter surmounted by lotus over left shoulder; dotted border / APΣINOHΣ-ΦIΛAΔEΛΦOY, double cornucopia bound with fillet, containing pyramidal cakes, pomegranates and other fruits, grape cluster hanging from the rim of each horn; L IB (date) in right field, Π between cornucopia and fillet, dotted border. Apparently unpublished. Cf. DCA 38 var. (Ptolemy VI, different dates). Svoronos -, cf. 1319 and pl. XLIV, 16 for Year 13.
