Franz Joseph I gold 20 Corona 1913 MS61 NGC, Vienna mint, KM2818, Fr-509. Mintage: 28,058. A fully uncirculated selection of this challenging issue, one of which few quality survivors exist. NGC has seen a mere three examples of the 1913 series to date, and this example ties with one other for the second-finest certified. Semi-watery and flashy in the fields, the offering displays a full strike and particularly crisp reverse details, with only a uniform and gentle dispersal of friction capping the assigned grade.
