Indeed, the offering is presently the second finest example of the subtype certified at either major grading service and one of the finest straight-graded Richard III Angels at NGC, behind just one AU58 and 3 UNC Details pieces there and a lone MS63 of S-2150 at PCGS. For comparison, the specimen in the Tyrant Collection is only an XF45. Truly a special opportunity for the collector of English hammered gold, and a coin which has long been off the market.
