Variety with Nicholas facing left, wearing laurel wreath. Struck in celebration of Nicholas's golden jubilee, having ruled Montenegro quite successfully as prince since 1860, enacting military, administrative, and educational reforms, and greatly increasing the prosperity of the small Balkan kingdom.
