Constantius II, as Augustus (AD 337-361). AV solidus (21mm, 4.42 gm, 6h). ANACS VF 35. Nicomedia, AD 340-351. CONSTAN-TIVS AVG, rosette-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantius II right, seen from front / VICTORIA AVGVSTORVM, Victory seated right on cuirass, shield to left, inscribing shield VOT / XXX in two lines, supported by a winged genius on right, standing left; SMNC in exergue. Unpublished for the type. Cf. RIC VIII 35 (multiple of nine-siliquae); cf. Depeyrot 4/3 (fraction of 1.5 scripulum). Perfectly centered on satiny flan. Attractive style.
