D N IVSTINI-ANVS PP AVG, helmeted, cuirassed bust of Justinian I facing, round tufts of hair visible across forehead, globus cruciger in right hand, shield decorated with horseman motif in left / VICTORI-A AVGGG, angel standing facing, grounded linear cross in right hand, large globus in left; star in right field, CONOB in exergue. Sear 138 (Constantinople, but notes Thessalonica). DOC I 7 (Constantinople). Metcalf, Minting at Thessalonica in the 5th and 6th Centuries, 318. Solidly struck from attractive dies. Perfectly centered.
