X * ΘЄOFI-LOS bASILЄ' Θ, facing bust of Theophilus, with short beard, wearing crown and chlamys, patriarchal cross in right hand, akakia in left / + mIXAHL-S COnStAntIn', facing busts of deceased father Michael II (on left), wearing short beard, and deceased son Constantine (on right), beardless, each wearing crown and chlamys; cross in field above. Sear 1653. DOC 3.1 3d var. (X on obverse). Füeg 3.H.2.z²-³. Extremely Rare - only two examples cited by Füeg with an 'x' before the obverse legend. Perfectly struck on satiny flan.
