A beautiful rendition from this short-lived Mirliton series, the wholly brilliant finish and surprisingly sharp designs raising in seemingly high relief against low-lying, slightly reflective fields. A desirable piece from a seldom-encountered mint, and the only reviewed by NGC or PCGS, with only a small handful having been witnessed at auction in recent decades, none so fine.
