Louis XV gold Louis d'Or Mirliton 1725-& MS62 NGC, Aix mint, KM470.26, Gad-339 (R2). With only two of these Aix-minted issues certified between both major grading parties and a total mintage of just 51,000, it's quite apparent that survivors in any condition are rare, let alone near-Choice Mint State. Displaying wonderful sun-yellow surfaces radiating with golden resplendence and impeccable preservation, notably to the recesses of the legends, while the interior fields remain lightly marked defining the grade. A scarce opportunity to say the least.
