Hamburg. Free City Taler 1620 MS64 NGC, KM100, Dav-5364. A gorgeous Taler whose lightly toned surfaces are punctuated by brightly shimmering luster and traces of soft golden accents. The strike is sharp and intriguingly doubled in areas, including a dramatic shift in the gate that produces two adjacent representations of this feature. Scarce so fine, with a planchet flaw noted in the reverse eagle's wing for accuracy.
