An inspiring offering of Elizabeth's last series of coinage, with attractive battleship-gray surfaces veiling characteristically shallow yet detailed motifs, exhibiting especially trivial instances of handling precluding the piece at hand from finer designations. While struck upon an imperfect planchet displaying scattered fissures, as is typical of these early issues, the piece remains in an especially fine state of preservation, becoming exceedingly scarce approaching Mint State designations.
