A handsome conditional outlier for not only the date but the type as well, imbued with weakly struck central devices as is commonly encountered in this series. The present first-year of issue offering provides an aura of preservation with only the lightest degree of scattered handling traceable throughout, tempered by a lovely and all-encompassing cabinet tone. While not the finest certified, with a single MS63 ahead, the next closest in either census is an AU53, confirming just how elusive pieces this fine are to the series.
