Interestingly enough, we've offered this issue in Proof with greater frequency in recent years than its business strike counterpart, lending to the fact that this issue is quite scarce. Displaying only light, honest wear as is usually encountered on these early, milled gold issues, while the reverse, with its stunning tangerine patination and scattered traces of mint bloom, faces up much finer than the assigned grade would indicate.
