Great Britain
George IV gold Sovereign 1825 MS63 NGC, KM696, S-3801, Marsh-10. A remarkably rare preservation for the issue, and the first year that saw the use of this "Bare Head" design, both sides replete with a pervasive luster and thick die polish. Indeed, close inspection yields just scattered incidences of contact around George's bust to bound the designation, which nonetheless ranks in the upper tier of certified examples.
