Iran
Qajar. Fath Ali Shah gold Toman Sahebqeran AH 1242 (1826/1827) MS62 NGC, Rikab (Rekab) mint, Type X, KM757.6, A-2868 (R), Kazan-Unl., Khedivial-Unl., Poole-Unl., Farahbakhsh-Unl., SICA IX-Unl. 4.59gm. An extremely rare traveling mint from this reign, undocumented both by Poole in the British Museum (as of 1887) and by Album in the Ashmolean, with this remaining the sole example we have been able to locate. The term "rekab" itself means "stirrup," with the full mint name (Zarrabkhane-ye Mubarake-ye Rikab) meaning "the fortuitous mint of the stirrup"--a mobile mint which accompanied the royal army during its campaigns. Though reasonable common for the coinage of Karim Khan of the Zand Dynasty, the mint is almost never encountered during the later Qajar period.
