DNLVT (NL ligate) | PRNRx (NRx ligate), Byzantine-style diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Liutprand right, S before bust / SCSI | HΛHIL (HΛH ligate), St. Michael the Archangel standing left wearing pointed helmet, cross-tipped staff in right hand, round shield in left. A gorgeous emission from this long-reigning and most successful King of the Lombards, boasting an enviable strike with navy and pink tone along the unstruck outer rims.
