1) 2 Escudos 1797 M-MF - XF, KM435.1. 22mm. 6.59gm.
2) 2 Escudos 1801 M-FA - AU, KM435.1. 22mm. 6.69gm.
3) 2 Escudos 1803 M-FM - XF, KM-Unl. 23mm. 6.76gm.
4) 2 Escudos 1805 M-FM - XF, KM-Unl. 22mm. 6.53gm. Gilding worn off.
Madrid mint. An interesting set of counterfeit 2 Escudos revealing varying amounts of the underlying metal underneath a layer of gilding. Though all display the crowned "M" mintmark for Madrid, both examples with "FM" assayers initials do not correspond to real types produced for those dates (1803 and 1805).
