PALESTINE. Lot of (4). Palestine Currency Board. 500 Mils to 10 Pounds, 1939. P-6c to 9c. PMG Very Fine 25 to Choice Very Fine 35 EPQ.
4 pieces in lot. All four of these examples carry the 1939 date. This grouping is very difficult to piece together all at once with the notes all garnering a significant premium individually. The 500 Mils is found in a CVF 35EPQ holder. The 1 Pound is graded VF 30 by PMG. Both the scarce 5 Pound and very scarce 10 Pound notes are graded VF 25 by PMG. The 10 Pound note has only a minor piece of the corner missing which is noted by PMG but it does not interfere with the design. Both the 5 and 10 Pound are also prefix B. This is a rare opportunity to jumpstart a serious collection of Palestine, or fill gaps in an already established collection.
