Depicted at center is Manoel da Silva Passos, flanked at left and right by "50" counters with Arms above. The reverse of the note depicts Terreiro do Paço square in Lisbon. Scarcely encountered, and this large format 50 Escudos note is found in an attractive mid-grade. PMG Pop 2/1 Finer.
