Issued by decree of 2 October 1832, commencing 5 October 1832 until 20 December 1834. Countermark applied to the obverse of an 1830-Ga FS Mexico Republic 8 Reales; Die style of 1825-45. One of the more available dates as a host from this series, the countermark is slightly uneven with last part of the king's cipher obscured. The host is nicely preserved with very attractive rich patination that is complemented by iridescent hues with underlying luster in the protected areas. This wholly original looking example is sure to be a welcome addition to the next collection it enters.
