HGC-1, 1354; HN Italy-1953; SNG Cop-1613. Obverse: Bearded head of Herakles left, wearing lion skin; club to right, tiny Γ below; Reverse: Nike, holding kentron and reins, driving biga right; below, coiled serpent right. A RARE type, this charming specimen dazzles with a fairly well centered, sharp strike, though some scratches are noted below the beard of Herakles.
