HGC-2, 1289; SNG ANS-350-6. Obverse: Head of Herakles left, wearing lion skin; Reverse: Quadripartite incuse square, Σ-Y-P-A in quarters; in deeper incuse circle in center, small female head (Arethousa?) left, wearing necklace. Highly brilliant and lustrous, this barely handled fractional issue features a particularly alluring golden-yellow hue along with a fairly sharp strike.
