HGC-7, 409; SNG BM Black Sea-1516-7. Obverse: Turreted female head left; countermark: radiate head of Helios facing; Reverse: Poseidon seated left on throne, holding dolphin and trident; countermark: laureate head of Zeus left. A number of scattered scuffs and marks are noted, but this countermarked example nevertheless presents great charm and a deep cabinet tone.
