ISAAC I, 1057-1059. AV Histamenon Nomisma (4.36 gms), Constantinople Mint. NGC Ch AU, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 3/5. Scratches.
S-1843. Obverse: Christ Pantokrator seated facing on throne; Reverse: Isaac standing facing, holding drawn sword and scabbard. A few light scratches are noted in the reverse field, but this barely handled specimen otherwise presents a very strong strike with great brilliance and only a hint of minor handling.
