GREAT BRITAIN. Silver Ladles with Inlayed Coins (9 Pieces), ND.
A set of silver ladles with long handles, some detachable, the handles being made of metal, wood, and other materials: no two are alike. The cup portions are also of varying dimension and shape, with silver coins soldered into the base. The coins themselves are shillings and 6 Pence, mostly from the reign of George II, though a few others are present from George III, Anna, and Elizabeth I.
From the Steve M. Tompkins Collection.
Estimate: $150 - $300
