2) Florence. Giovanni Antonio dei Guidi (d. 1501), count of Urbecche and Modigliana. 90.5 mm diameter, uniface. Attributed to Niccolo Spinelli, called "il Fiorentino". This medal is known with various reverses as well as the uniface version offered here. Hill-978.
3) Rome. Carlo Maratta (1625-1713), painter and principal of the Accademia di San Luca. 70 mm diameter. By Charles Jean Francois Chéron (1635-1698). Obverse: bust of the artist right; reverse: Genius addresses the muse of Painting. Vannel/Toderi 20.
