Obverse: Bust left in frock coat; olive branch above, to left, and to right; Reverse: Orpheus, sitting on rocks and playing lyre; lion leaning against him; below, two lionesses and a hare. Edge: Plain. Rich red-brown surfaces, with a delightful brilliance in the fields. Incredible relief on the obverse portrait, with great detail on the ambitious reverse. Some scattered spots are noted for completeness.
