35x44mm; 37.17 gms. Wurzbach-6133; Hauser-2180. Obverse: Bust facing slightly right in frock coat; Reverse: Seminude figures of Psyche, extending hand toward butterfly, and Thanatos, holding torch, standing facing one another; inscribed plaque between them. Edge: [two hallmarks] located at 6h. Pleasantly toned, with a somewhat mottled nature on the obverse and an alluring matte quality throughout.
