SICILY, Syracuse. Hieron II. 275-215 BC. Æ Tetras (19mm, 6.74 g, 8h). Struck circa 263-218 BC. Head of Poseidon left, wearing tainia / Ornamented trident head flanked by two dolphins; [control mark(s) flanking shaft]. Cf. CNS 197; BAR Issue 60; HGC 2, 1550. Dark brown surfaces, with traces of green encrustation, rotated double strike on reverse. Good VF.
