Domitian. As Caesar, AD 69-81. Æ As (24mm, 7.50 g, 12h). Uncertain mint in Asia Minor. Struck under Vespasian, AD 77-78. Laureate head right / Eagle standing left on thunderbolt, head right. RIC II.1 1518 (Vespasian; R2); RPC II 1485. Brown and green, some porosity and shallow scratchs, traces of deposits. Fine. Possibly the fourth known example and the second in private hands.
