WILHELM I DEUTSCHER KAISER, Wilhelm enthroned facing, holding sword and globus cruciger; ornate background of coats-of-arms / * ZUR ERINNERUNG AN DEN EINZUG KAISER WILHELM I IN STRASSBURG AM I MAI 1877, Strasbourg standing facing, holding palm frond, within ornate garlanded arch with two coats-of-arms flanking and coats-of-arms on walls; on walls flanking, two tablets inscribed 24-27/ SEPT/ 1876 and 1-9/ MAI/ 1877; Strasbourg Cathedral in background through arch. Once cleaned, now with iridescent toning, minor marks and rim bumps. Near EF.
