PONTOS, Amisos. Circa 90-85 BC. Æ (26mm, 12h). Time of Mithradates VI Eupator. Head of Athena right, wearing Attic helmet / Perseus standing facing, holding harpa and Medusa's head; Medusa's body at his feet, monograms to left and right. Malloy 16h var. (monograms reversed); HGC 7, 238. Dark green patina, with light earthen deposits in fields. In NGC encapsulation 5872733-034, graded VF, adjusted flan.
