In the centre, a 7-sided panel with '1971 Decimal Day'. The Reverse on the 'Struck on the Day' coin not frosted so quite different in appearance to the Gold Proof and Gold Proof Piedfort editions also listed in this sale. FDC in the Royal Mint box of issue with certificate number 240 signed by Gavin Elliott, Head of Production of Commemorative coin.
