A note from BCD: The early 80's was a difficult time for someone to start an auction company offering ancient coins. There was a general shortage of fine quality material and for what was available the consignors were asking unreasonably high reserves. These early Schulten catalogues reflect such problems as they applied to a straightforward dealer who would not make concessions in order to advance in business.
