PHOENICIA, Marathos. 175/4-170/69 BC. Æ (19.5mm, 5.65 g, 12h). Dated CY 91 (169/8 BC). Laureate and draped bust of Ptolemy VI as Hermes right, with kerykeion over shoulder / Marathos standing slightly left, holding aphlaston; date (in Phoenician) to left, Phoenician nun to inner left and bet to lower right. Duyrat, Ateliers 264–5; HGC 10, 194; DCA 832. Dark green-brown patina, light earthen dusting. Near VF.
