HANOVER. George III. 1760-1820. AR Dollar – Five Shillings (41mm, 26.44 g, 11h). Bank of England issue. Soho (Birmingham) mint. Dated 1804. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Britannia seated left, holding olive branch and spear, and leaning upon Union shield; cornucopia below; beehive in background to left; all within turreted collar; c/m: 4. ESC 144; SCBC 3768. Toned, some scratches and hairlines, countermarked with a small "4" on reverse. Fine.
