Edward III (1327-1377), Pre-Treaty period, Noble, series Gc/f mule, mm. cross 3 on rev. only, ropes 3-1, quatrefoils 3-3, five lis in French arms, saltire before edward, e and c cut at top on obv., two annulets flanking lis at end of top cross limb on rev., 7.73g/1h (LAL BA/32-8; SCBI Schneider 45/47; Doubleday –; N 1180/2; S 1490). Slightly soft of strike and with a small scuff by obverse edge at 5 o'clock, otherwise better than very fine, scarce £3,000-£3,600
