Head of Athena to right, wearing earring, necklace, and crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves over visor and a spiral palmette on the bowl; AP monogram behind / Owl standing to right, head facing; olive sprig and crescent behind, AΘE before. Good Extremely Fine; attractive old cabinet tone. An apparently unpublished type with this monogram and no grape bunch on reverse, possibly unique.
