Helmeted head of Mars right; mallet above, denomination mark below chin / Warrior standing left, resting foot on cuirass and holding spear; behind him, a tabella divided into two compartments with CM/(AL) in two lines in one, Π retrograde and sideways in the other; trophy in left field. Good Very Fine; good style; well centered and sharply struck; dramatically toned on glossy silver; some scratches; large areas of core exposed on reverse. Impressive fouree. Fascinating piece.
