CHINESE SOVIET REPUBLIC: AE 20 cash, cf. Kann, 650k, countermarked su wéi 'ai (soviet) on Hunan Province crossed flag type, VF, ex Shawn Hamilton Collection. According to Kann it is unknown where this type of countermark was applied and there are several small varieties of calligraphy. It is possible it is a fantasy production.
