ANCIENT: LOT of 26 coins from Greek and Persian world, including Greek: Siculo-Punic AE (palm tree/horse head), Syracuse Timoleon AE trias (Hippocamp), Egypt Ptolemy II AE22, Seleukid Antiochos VI AR drachm & 2 bronzes, Cappadocia Ariobarzanes AR drachm, Hispania Carteia AE (Fortuna/dolphin), plus several other bronzes and a small lead tessera; Persian: Achaemenid AR siglo, Elymais Kamnakires VI BI drachm, 3 Parthian AR drachms, 2 Kushano-Sasanian coppers (including imitation of Peroz I with Siva & Nandi), Phromo Kesaro AR drachm with Bactrian countermark φoρo, 2 Hephthalite pieces, and Samarkand Tarkhan AE cash; average circulated conditions, the majority worn but with quite a few nicer examples, most identified in accompanying holders; retail value $650, lot of 26 pieces.
