ET HI : REX, crowned and armoured second bust (2b) left, 'elongated portrait' wearing ruff, rev. square-topped and lightly garnished shield, 9.03g, 8h, m.m. anchor [rounded flukes / straight flukes on rev. and over castle] (Brooker 48-50; Schneider II, 125/126 [and BNJ, 1958, pp. 381]; North 2149; Spink 2688), the portrait struck soft on a bright and full flan, a trace of doubling in legend and superficial scuffs in fields, otherwise a bolder fine / near very fine, in NGC holder, graded AU55 (Cert. #6135268-011) [*Top Pop*].

Two varieties of R puncheon are witnessed in the reverse legend, the first used a compact letter form solely for type seen in FLORENT, and a second with splayed feet and an additional internal serif.
