(g) The Uvedale Collection | PROOF VF Details | George IV (1820-1830), Pattern Proof Two-Pounds, 1826 SEPTIMO, bare head left, rev. crowned and mantled quartered shield of arms, crowned escutcheon with the Arms of Hanover at the centre, DECUS ET TUTAMEN ANNO REGNI SEPTIMO upwards on edge, 15.66g, 7h (Stratos 215; W&R 228; Spink 3799), a heavily circulated pocket-piece pattern, cleaned and with other residual brilliance in deepest recesses, strictly fine / near very fine, very rare with only 450 struck, a solid budget example of this otherwise prohibitvely expensive market-commanding coin, in NGC holder, graded PROOF VF Details ~ Obverse Tooled (Cert. 6135270-006).
