Sollai, Mariano. MONETE CONIATE IN SARDEGNA NEL MEDIOEVO E NELL'EVO MODERNO (1289–1913). Sassari, 1977. 4to, original red leatherette, gilt. 392, (4) pages; illustrated. Housed as issued in matching slipcase. Fine. Mark Salton abstracted this work for Numismatic Literature as follows: "A corpus of Sardinian coinage covering Villa di Chiesa as Pisan possession and under the Aragonese kings, the Cagliari mint from the beginning of its activity under John I of Aragon to its closing in 1821, and finally the coinages of the mints at Alghero, Sassari and Bosa. The text contains information about the historic and economic background of the issues. There is a bibliography and a general index." Clain-Stefanelli 6863.
