Four very scarce early Brüder Egger sales, all of them plated. Armin Egger (1864–1929) joined the family firm of Brüder Egger, which had held its first coin sale in November 1874 (the collections of Gotthard Minus and Adolph Preiss). He developed it into one of the premier European numismatic auction houses of the day. With the breakout of World War I, Armin withdrew from the auction scene, though he continued his involvement in the numismatic field until his death. The final sale is Spring 149: the plates are of very high quality.
