The later plates of the second catalogue [printed as double plates to lie flat] have come loose from the binding. Very good. Two significant sales. The von Schennis catalogue is Clain-Stefanelli 1771, Grierson 287, Spring 387 [listed under "Most important sales of ancient Greek coins" and "Most important sales of Roman Imperial coins"]. The Garrucci collection is Clain-Stefanelli 3666, Grierson 280, Spring 388 [also listed under "Most important sales of ancient Greek coins," "Most important sales of aes grave" and "Most important sales of Roman Imperial coins"]. Presumably from the E.J. Seltman Library.
