Signed by the author and numbered 7. Very good. A complete set of the original stand-alone publications, all of them signed by the author. An original set of this landmark work, rarely offered complete. These are the stand-alone offprint publications, issued in a very limited edition, signed and numbered by the author. The text was also published in the Numismatische Zeitschrift (Wien), for 1896, 1897, 1900 and 1918. The set of signed offprints sold as part of our sale of the RBW Library in 2016 brought $4250 hammer. That the first volume here present is inscribed by Dr. Justus Haeberlin is exciting not only because of Haeberlin's towering stature in the field of Roman Republican coins, but because the second volume of Bahrfeldt's Nachträge is dedicated to him.
